of the acquisition of Demko, by launching
a global campaign on International Certification.
Starting
from November 2006 for One Year, manufacturers
of information technology equipment applying
for UL Mark, have the unique chance to
get CB, ULGS and D marks free of charge
for their products.
The purpose of this campaign is to support
those operating in the ITE industry ,
simplifying their global access through
the CB Scheme.
Moreover the harmonised standard for Information
Technology Equipment – IEC/EN/UL
60950-1 (CAN/CSA-C22.2 NO. 60950-1-03)
– allows manufacturers access
to North America market and to International
market by undergoing only one certification
process.
This offer, available exclusively from
UL provides a further advantage, making

*Conditions
of the Campaign:
- EMC Declaration of Conformity required
for the issue of GS is not covered by
the campaign
- Special testing requirements such
as ergonomic tests is not covered by

- Annual fees and factory inspection
costs related to GS and D mark programme
are not covered by the campaign
- The clients should demonstrate compliance
with applicable IEC standards for safety
critical components
- National deviations included in the
CB report are US, Canada, Germany and
Denmark
